Getting started

Set it up yourself in eight steps.

From creating an account to your first sale, without waiting for someone to schedule a setup visit.

  1. 1

    Answer five questions

Open the Sign up page. Answer five questions about your business, one per screen: your line of business, how many places you run, how customers pay you, how many employees you have, and your business income tax. Some answers come with a short follow-up question, for example whether you accept cash.

  2. 2

    Choose a plan

The We understand your business screen sums up your answers, then recommends a plan and explains why. You can choose another plan. The other plan cards list the modules that plan does not include and what that means for your business.

Have a promo code, for example EARLY? Open Have a promo code? on the same screen. The prices on the plan cards switch to the promo prices right away.

  3. 3

Create an account and enter the code

Enter your name, email, WhatsApp number, and a password. Your password needs at least 10 characters, with letters and numbers. You keep using this email and password, during the trial and after you subscribe.

We send a six-digit code to your email. Not in your inbox? Check your Spam folder, or have it sent again from the same screen.

  4. 4

    Open your system

A progress bar shows your system being prepared, usually within one to three minutes. If the queue is full that day, your system will be ready by the next day at the latest. Its address is shown on screen and we also send it to your email. Open that address, then sign in with your email and password.

The system is installed empty, without sample data. Some things are already set from your answers, such as the modules that are switched on, the payment methods at the cashier, and your business taxes. The data you enter during the trial stays when you subscribe.

  5. 5

Complete your business profile and taxes

In Settings, enter your business name, document initials, address, and logo. If your business is VAT-registered (PKP), also enter your NPWP, the tax ID number. This information is printed on the letterhead of invoices and other documents.

If your plan includes the Tax module, open the Business taxes screen and check the taxes we set up from your answers.

  6. 6

    Set up cash and bank

Add the bank accounts or cash accounts you use. Tick "Cash/Bank Account" ("Akun Kas/Bank" in Indonesian) when saving.

  7. 7

    Add products and opening stock

Type in products one by one, or add them all at once from an Excel file through the Data Import menu. Then record how many of each item you have today, along with its cost.

For a restaurant, enter your menu items and ingredients, then create your list of tables and print a QR code for each table. If you buy from suppliers, add your suppliers too.

For hourly rental on the Business plan, create your list of units, for example tables, courts, or rooms, then enter their hourly rates. If customers may book on their own, switch on the online booking page and enter your business's own Midtrans keys in Settings.

  8. 8

Add users, then record your first sale

Create accounts for your staff, for example a cashier. Each person signs in with their own account. Then open a cashier shift and record one sale, or create one invoice for a customer.

If cashiers may give discounts, the directors create the discount codes in the Cashier Discounts menu. Cashiers only choose a code and don't type in their own discount.

Finally, connect backups to your own Google Drive in Settings.

The done marks in the Getting started guide appear on their own. Each step counts as done based on data that really exists, for example once there are products or once there is a sale. Steps that don't fit your modules are not shown.

Subscribing

  • Inside your system, open the Subscribe menu.
  • Choose a plan and a period: 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. Pay for a year and you only pay for 10 months.
  • Have a promo code? Enter it on the Subscribe screen before you pay. A code you entered when signing up for the free trial is carried over.
  • Choose a payment method. QRIS, credit card, and e-wallet have no extra fee. A bank Virtual Account has a fee of Rp4,000 per payment, shown as a separate line before you pay.
  • Pay through Midtrans. Your subscription becomes active once we receive the payment.
  • Your system address, account, and data stay the same.

Trial over but not subscribed yet? After 7 days, the system can only be viewed. You can't record, change, import, or download data. Every screen shows the time left until the data is deleted. If you still haven't subscribed, the trial system and all its data are deleted 2 days after the trial ends. If you subscribe before then, all your data stays.

Forgot your system address?

Every business has its own system address. Open the Sign in page and enter the email you used to sign up. We will send the sign-in address to that email.

Need help?

Contact us on WhatsApp at +62 817 9555 599 or by email at ptnawasenakaryanusantara@gmail.com. Inside the system, the round button with Nawa's face in the bottom right corner opens the Help panel, which explains the screen you have open. If the owner has switched on Nawa AI, the same panel has an Ask Nawa tab for questions about using the system, your business data, financial analysis, and your business's taxes.
